Psalm 70:5 (1-5) “But I am afflicted and needy;”
How do you handle your enemies?
This Psalm is titled “for a memorial.” I think what David is doing is not just asking God for help for a specific event. I think David has written a kind of prayer song that he could use for whenever he would find himself in this kind of difficulty. So, to make sure he was asking in the right way for the right thing, he put that prayer to music so he couldn’t forget it (look at Psalm 40:13-17).
I’m sure that most of us have memorized Psalm 23 and it is when we find ourselves in deepest emotional pain that this Psalm is helpful. But, both of these Psalms are full of valuable information we can’t forget for a moment in or out of trouble.
David asks God to handle his enemies (our enemies are His). He is not going to touch the hair of a single one either verbally or physically, 70:2, 3 & 5. He recognizes his need to focus on God and not be distracted by others, 70:4-5. We should understand that anyone in the service of the Lord (all of us or else why are we still here) is an automatic target of Satan and his helpers. They will do everything they can to make us feel unworthy of the task God has given us.
But, Satan should understand that we already know we’re unworthy, Luke 17:10. Don’t you forget it, 2 Thessalonians 1:5!
Endurance involves sticking to God’s goals in God given responsibilities when you would rather give up.

Salmo 70:5 (1-5) “Mas yo estoy afligido y necesitado;”
¿Cómo manejas a tus enemigos?
